Requirements for a residence permit (Work or Business)

In order to obtain a residence permit to seek employment or explore the possibilities of starting a business in Sweden, you must

• have completed studies corresponding to an advanced level degree (Master’s Degree)

• plan to seek employment or explore the possibilities of starting your own business

• Fund show (equivalent to at least SEK 13,000 for each month for which you are applying for a residence permit.)

• Health insurance (it must cover the entire period for which you are applying for a permit.)

• A valid passport

Mandatory Documents:-

• Passport

• Digital copies of the examination certificate

• Digital copies of the official transcript of academic record

• Digital copies of bank statements & Health Insurance

• Signed Consent Letter

A visa permit will be a minimum of 3 months and no more than nine months. You will receive a residence permit card if you get a permit for more than three months. Need to provide biometrics.
