New Zealand has started this Visa category to provide support to the North Island's recovery from extreme events in January and February 2023. This Visa allows to work for any New Zealand employer in the following support tasks:
• providing emergency response
• immediate clean-up
• assessing risk or loss
• infrastructure, building, and housing stabilization and/or repair (including planning functions)
• work that directly supports the recovery (e.g. producing relevant materials for road rebuild, transport drivers, etc)
