I suppose this blog will be very delightful for you all, because we have got the best news from the Public Health Agency of Canada.
As we know that Canadian Government has shut the border till 7th September for any non-essential purpose of travelling.
But from September 7, 2021, the Government of Canada intends to open Canada’s borders for fully vaccinated travelers from any country.
Any traveler can enter Canada only if they have fulfill certain requirements.
The traveler has received the recommended dose of a COVID-19 vaccine accepted by Health Canada or a combination of accepted vaccines.
The last dosage must have been administered at least 14 days prior to entering Canada.
He/she has to submit their Proof of Vaccination Certificate digitally through 'ArriveCAN' prior to boarding their flight and have a copy of the receipt to present at boarding. (Note: ArriveCAN is free and secure and is the official Government of Canada platform to provide your information when entering Canada.)
The traveler need to share one copy in English, French or with a certified translation (along with the original) with the Board services officer on arrival in Canada.
Fully Vaccinated travelers are still required to,
-- Have a pre-entry molecular COVID-19 Test with Negative result taken within 72 hours of departure, or a test with positive result taken on the sample more than 14 days and less than 180 days before the departure.
-- Antigen tests are not accepted.
-- Fully vaccinated travelers entering Canada for discretionary reasons are still subject to all other entry related requirements.
-- To be considered fully vaccinated, customers must have received all required doses of a vaccine or combination of vaccines accepted by Government of Canada at least 14 days prior to entering Canada.
Currently those vaccines are:
Pfizer-2 doses required;
Moderna-2 doses required;
AstraZeneca/ COVISHIELD 2 doses required;
