Visa Information

And Many more.........

  • Australia has a streamlined visa process for international students.

  • The streamlined visa process (SVP) allows international students to apply for a student visa with fewer documents and a simpler application process. SVP is available for all bachelor's, master's, master's by research, and PhD students who are accepted to an eligible Australian university.

Here are some of the benefits of applying for a student visa under SVP:

  • Simplified application process: The SVP application process is simpler than the standard student visa application process. You will need to provide fewer documents and your application will be processed more quickly.

  • Reduced financial requirements: The financial requirements for SVP visas are lower than the standard student visa requirements. You will need to show that you have enough money to support yourself for the duration of your studies.

  • Unlimited work rights for masters by research and PhD students: Masters by research and PhD students who have a SVP visa are eligible to work unlimited hours in Australia. This can help you to cover your living expenses while you study.

  • Acceptance of recent finances: Under SVP, you can submit recent financial documents if you can prove the source of your funds. This means that you do not have to wait 90 days before applying for a visa.

  • Anyone can be a sponsor: Anyone can sponsor an international student for a SVP visa, as long as they have a logical reason for doing so. This makes it easier to find a sponsor if you do not have family or friends in Australia.

  • Acceptance of other English language tests: In addition to IELTS, other English language tests such as TOEFL, PTE, and CAE are also accepted for SVP visas. This gives you more flexibility in choosing an English language test.

To be eligible for a SVP visa, you must meet the following requirements:

  • You must be accepted to a full-time course of study at an eligible Australian university.

  • You must meet the genuine temporary entrant (GTE) requirements. This means that you must demonstrate that you intend to stay in Australia temporarily for the purpose of study and that you will return to your home country after you graduate.

  • You must have enough money to support yourself for the duration of your studies.

  • You must have health insurance that meets the requirements of the Australian government.

  • You must have a valid passport that is valid for at least 6 months.

  • You must meet the health requirements of the Australian government.

If you meet all of these requirements, you can apply for a SVP visa through the Australian Department of Home Affairs. The application process is simple and straightforward, and you can usually expect to receive a decision within 3-4 weeks.
