When to apply?
You can apply for a student visa if you are 16 or over.
The earliest you can apply for a visa is 6 months before you start your course
Usually you will get your visa within 3 weeks
How long you can stay?
Your stay in Canada is depends on the length of your course.
If you are 18 and your course is at degree level, you can stay in the UK for up to 5 years. If it is below degree level, you can usually stay for up to 2 years.

You’ll also have to pay the healthcare surcharge as part of your application. Generally it is £624 per year.
